Obama: If election held today we’d win

President Obama told supporters at a campaign event in New York City Monday night that, if the election were held today he would win.

"So the upshot is if the election were held today, I think it would be close, but I think we'd win," Obama said.

Noting that there were 99 days left until the election, Obama added: "If I can say that every single day for the next 99 days, then we will be able to embark on the next phase of this journey."

Obama made the remarks at a fundraising event at the NoMad Hotel in New York City. 

He reminded the audience that the nation is recovering from "the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression."

"We have made progress -- 4.5 million new jobs, half a million in manufacturing, the strongest since 1990," Obama said, adding that the housing market "is just now starting to tick back up again."

Obama admitted that there is "much more work to do."

Blacks are Unsatisfied with Obama

The media establishment is loathe saying anything negative about Obama. The media publish a piece that raises troubling concerns for the president. This week it was CBS that turn with a piece that notes that Obama has a complicated relationship with black America. According to CBS, blacks are largely unsatisfied with Obama.

The CBS reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell goes to pains to mention how dissatisfied or not, they are still voting for Obama. The black community leaders and politicians are disappointed that Obama has done so little for them.

The black unemployment is so higher than that of other communities. Obama has done little on the violent crime that plagues big city black communities and he is also criticized for avoiding speaking before any of the nation’s African American organizations like the NCAAP and the National Urban League.

Just recently actor Morgan Freeman said that Obama didn’t qualify as the first black president because he had a very white mother.

“Before this movie, for years, some theaters have employed special duty officers,” said Sgt. Richard Weiner of Columbus Police. “I called them first thing this morning to make sure they were all OK,” Ferguson said.
